Step by Step
- Rinse the cranberries in a colander under cold water, removing any stems and bruised berries.
- Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan: cranberries, sugar, water, orange zest, and juice. Stir gently.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Stir occasionally, cooking for about 10-15 minutes.
- Check the consistency; it should thicken and coat the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
