Preparation
- Rinse and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice them into ¼-inch rings and remove the cores.
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour mixed with salt, one for whisked egg and milk, and one for the cinnamon breadcrumb mixture.
- Dip each apple ring into flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mix. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the coated apple rings in the fryer basket. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Remove and let rest for a minute. Enjoy warm, optionally with powdered sugar or honey.
