  • 2 medium Apples Honeycrisp or Gala are recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice To prevent browning.
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Flour For the coating base.
  • 1 large Egg Whisk with milk for binding.
  • 1 4 Milk Any milk variant.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs/Cereal For a crispy finish.

Preparation
  1. Rinse and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice them into ¼-inch rings and remove the cores.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour mixed with salt, one for whisked egg and milk, and one for the cinnamon breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Dip each apple ring into flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mix. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the coated apple rings in the fryer basket. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
  6. Remove and let rest for a minute. Enjoy warm, optionally with powdered sugar or honey.
