  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Olive oil can be used if unavailable.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Can use garlic powder if fresh is not available.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (grated) Ground ginger is a possible alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional for extra heat.
To Achieve Crispiness
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch Arrowroot powder can also be used.
For Garnish
  • 1 bunch Green Onions (chopped) Can be replaced with chives.
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Optional for garnish.

How to Make Air Fryer Sweet Chili Chicken
  1. In a large bowl, mix together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated chicken, tossing gently until they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Once done, remove the chicken and garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
