How to Make Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls
- In a large bowl, blend together cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until everything is well incorporated and creamy.
- With your hands, scoop out approximately 1-inch portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Pop the tray into the refrigerator and let the cheese balls chill for about 1 hour.
- Take each chilled cheese ball and gently roll it in bread crumbs.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry each cheese ball for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the cheese balls from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
