How to Make Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls
  1. In a large bowl, blend together cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until everything is well incorporated and creamy.
  2. With your hands, scoop out approximately 1-inch portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Pop the tray into the refrigerator and let the cheese balls chill for about 1 hour.
  4. Take each chilled cheese ball and gently roll it in bread crumbs.
  5. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry each cheese ball for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the cheese balls from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
