- Generously sprinkle the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
 - Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot oil and cook for 4-6 minutes.
 - Remove the salmon and set aside. In the same pan, add minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute.
 - Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
 - Return the salmon to the pan, spooning the luscious sauce over it. Allow everything to heat together for another 2-3 minutes.
 - Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
