How to Make Balsamic Glazed Chicken
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cherries, balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 8 to 10 minutes until thickened.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- In the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, generously brush the cherry glaze onto the chicken, allowing it to caramelize.
- If the glaze thickens too much, whisk in a tablespoon of hot water or additional balsamic vinegar.
