- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the creamy peanut butter and half of the butterscotch chips. Stir until melted and smooth—about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated with the peanut butter mixture.
- Press the Rice Krispies mixture into a prepared baking dish, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- In another saucepan, melt the remaining butterscotch chips and chocolate chips together. Pour over the pressed mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Let the bars cool at room temperature or refrigerate until firm—about 30 minutes.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve.
- Optional: Drizzle with extra melted chocolate for a decadent finishing touch.
