Steps
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the creamy peanut butter and half of the butterscotch chips. Stir until melted and smooth—about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated with the peanut butter mixture.
  3. Press the Rice Krispies mixture into a prepared baking dish, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  4. In another saucepan, melt the remaining butterscotch chips and chocolate chips together. Pour over the pressed mixture, spreading it evenly.
  5. Let the bars cool at room temperature or refrigerate until firm—about 30 minutes.
  6. Once set, cut into squares and serve.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with extra melted chocolate for a decadent finishing touch.
