Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- Boil water and cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch dressing, and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Gently fold the cooked pasta and shredded chicken into the sauce until well coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the baking pan. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.
