For the Filling
  • 8 oz Thinly Sliced Flank Steak Can swap with ribeye or sirloin
  • 1 cup Provolone Cheese Shredded, mozzarella can be used
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Sliced, mixed colors
  • 1 cup Sweet Onions Sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing veggies
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Method
 

Main Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in a skillet with olive oil until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Cook the seasoned flank steak in the same skillet, pushing the veggies aside, until browned (3-5 minutes).
  4. Slice the French bread lengthwise, and gently scoop out some soft interior.
  5. Combine the cooked steak and veggies with the shredded provolone cheese. Spoon mixture into each half of the bread loaf.
  6. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown.
