- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in a skillet with olive oil until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
- Cook the seasoned flank steak in the same skillet, pushing the veggies aside, until browned (3-5 minutes).
- Slice the French bread lengthwise, and gently scoop out some soft interior.
- Combine the cooked steak and veggies with the shredded provolone cheese. Spoon mixture into each half of the bread loaf.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown.
