For the Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Mozzarella or smoked gouda for a unique flavor.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Essential for the filling’s texture; Neufchâtel can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional but recommended for richness.

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Use finely chopped sautéed onions instead.

For the Dough

  • 2 Tbsp Melted Butter Use olive oil for a lighter alternative.

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to keep things tidy.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Season: Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper; stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Cool Beef: Transfer the seasoned beef mixture to a bowl and let it cool slightly.
  5. Mix Filling: In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheese. Fold in the cooled beef mixture.
  6. Prepare Dough: Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into round shapes, about 4 inches in diameter.
  7. Fill and Seal: Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each biscuit round. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  8. Brush: Apply melted butter on top of each bomb.
  9. Bake: Arrange the filled bombs on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Cool and Serve: Allow the bomb to cool for a few minutes before serving.
