  • 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese For a sharper flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Optional topping.
For the Spread
  • 1/2 cup Garlic Butter Spread Mix softened butter with minced garlic and salt.
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Adjust to taste.
For the Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs Like parsley or basil for extra freshness.

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Season the chicken breasts or thighs with salt, pepper, and preferred spices. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Slice into strips.
Make the Garlic Bread
  1. Combine softened butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Spread on slices of bread and bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. On one slice of the garlic bread, layer cooked chicken strips, mozzarella cheese, and optional parmesan. Spread a layer of mayonnaise and mustard if desired, then top with another slice.
Grill the Sandwich
  1. Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side, or bake at 375°F until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
