Method

How to Make Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to ensure a perfect roasting temperature for your ingredients.
  2. Dice your Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes into even pieces. In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss until well coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned potato mixture evenly on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they turn crispy and golden brown, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
  4. Slice your smoked sausage and add it to the baking sheet with the potatoes. Return everything to the oven and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and the potatoes reach the desired crispness.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Place back into the oven and bake for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
