Preparation
- Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in a pan over medium heat until transparent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef and taco seasoning to the pan. Cook until the beef is browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface until about ½ inch thick.
- Cut the dough into 5 strips. Place spoonfuls of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese at the center of each strip.
- Fold the dough over the filling, sealing the edges. Brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake on a baking sheet for 10 minutes, add more cheese on top, then bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving with salsa and guacamole.
