Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle a layer of this mixture evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish to create a sweet base.
- Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
- Roll out the crescent dough into flat sheets. Place the first sheet of dough in the baking dish over the layer of cinnamon sugar for a lovely crust.
- Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent dough layer.
- Top with the second layer of crescent dough, placing it gently over your creamy filling. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 27 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Cool completely in the dish before slicing into bars.
