How to Make Churro Saltine Toffee
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt the unsalted butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it reaches a gentle boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the melted toffee mixture evenly over the arranged crackers.
- Bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot toffee, spreading evenly after they melt.
- Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over the melted chocolate.
- Finish with a pinch of sea salt and allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, break the toffee into pieces and enjoy!
