How to Make Classic Ground Beef and Rice Skillet
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Start by dicing the onion, bell pepper, and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the Beef: Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add Vegetables and Seasoning: Toss in the diced onion, bell pepper, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Incorporate Tomato Paste and Sauce: Mix in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce.
