  • 1 cup Apple Cider Dry French apple cider preferred
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream For a lighter option, use half-and-half

  • 2 sprigs Thyme Fresh or dried
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary Freshly chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Adjust quantity to taste

Preparation Steps
  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Flip chicken and cook for another 3-4 minutes, then remove from the pan.
  5. Sauté sliced onions in the same skillet for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  7. Add thinly sliced apples, thyme, and rosemary; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Pour in apple cider and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  9. Nestle chicken thighs back into the pan, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Remove chicken, stir in Dijon mustard and heavy cream, simmer until thickened.
  11. Return chicken to the pan to warm and serve with garnish.
