Cooking Instructions
- Prep Ingredients: Start by dicing your onions and mincing the garlic. Then, measure out your pasta, tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, and heavy cream so you're ready to go.
- Cook Aromatics: In a large pot over medium heat, sauté the diced onions and minced garlic for about 2-3 minutes until they become fragrant and slightly translucent.
- Brown Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the pot, cooking until it’s browned and crumbly, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Be sure to drain any excess fat for a leaner dish.
- Combine Sauces: Stir in the tomato sauce, low-sodium beef broth, and your chosen pasta. Bring everything to a boil, stirring occasionally to combine all the flavors.
- Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat and cover the pot. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and has absorbed most of the liquid.
- Finish with Cream & Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Keep stirring until everything becomes rich and creamy. If it's too thick, feel free to add a splash more of beef broth.
- Serve: Enjoy your creamy creation hot, garnished with additional cheese or herbs if you like.
