Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In the greased baking dish, combine long grain white rice, French onion soup, beef broth, and optional chopped onions. Stir gently to combine.
- Evenly distribute sliced butter on top of the rice mixture.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, carefully remove the foil and continue baking for another 20-25 minutes until liquid is absorbed and top is golden.
- Allow the dish to sit for 5 minutes before fluffing the rice gently with a fork.
