Cooking Instructions

  2. Prepare the chicken drumsticks by patting them dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the smoked paprika.
  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken on a roasting pan and roast until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), about 35 minutes.
  4. Sauté garlic in a skillet over medium heat with melted butter for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Whisk in flour to form a roux. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to avoid lumps. Stir in remaining smoked paprika, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Simmer sauce on medium-low for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  7. Combine cooked chicken with creamy sauce in the skillet, ensuring a good coat.
  8. Serve over steamed rice and enjoy!
