How to Make Creamy Parmesan Oven-Baked Potatoes
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with melted butter.
- Wash and slice the potatoes thinly, about ⅛ inch.
- Whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in a mixing bowl.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish, pouring half of the cream mixture over them.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cream mixture.
- Press down gently on the layered potatoes and sprinkle the reserved Parmesan evenly on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes if desired for an extra crispy top.
- Let rest for about 10 minutes before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.
