Method

How to Make Crispy Air-Fried Ribs
  1. Start by carefully removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. Trim any excess fat and cut the ribs into individual pieces.
  2. Generously sprinkle kosher salt over both sides of the ribs. Let them sit for about 30 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Coat the ribs with this blend.
  4. If using a rotisserie air fryer, skewer the ribs on the rotisserie spit. Otherwise, plan to flip the ribs halfway through cooking.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Air fry the ribs for 40-45 minutes, flipping once if necessary.
  6. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush BBQ sauce over the ribs and serve immediately.

Notes

Allow the ribs to sit with salt for at least 30 minutes. This enhances the flavor. Avoid boiling the ribs before air frying to preserve juices.
