How to Make Crispy Air Fryer Tofu
- Drain the extra-firm tofu and wrap it in paper towels. Place a weight on top for 20-30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Slice the tofu into bite-sized cubes after pressing.
- In a bowl, mix the tofu cubes with soy sauce and olive oil, ensuring everything is well-coated.
- Sprinkle cornstarch, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt over the tofu and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if necessary.
- Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Serve immediately while hot, plain or with dipping sauces.
