- In a mixing bowl, combine oats and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Refrigerate this crust for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Set your oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). This ensures a perfectly baked crust and filling.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, sugar, eggs, and salt until smooth and well combined.
- Place the prepared crust in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Carefully pour the filling into the pre-baked crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set but still has a slight jiggle in the center.
- Once baked, allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack.
