  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Aminos or Soy Sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce if necessary
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar Regular vinegar or lemon juice can be substituted
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning Main seasoning for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Enhances flavor and color
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup or Honey Use honey if not vegan

  1. Press the Tofu: Start by pressing and draining the tofu for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Mix the Marinade: Whisk together olive oil, coconut aminos (or soy sauce), apple cider vinegar, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and maple syrup.
  4. Coat the Tofu: Toss the torn tofu pieces in the marinade and let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Cooking Options: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 30 minutes, air fry at 375°F for 15 minutes, or pan-fry in oil for about 7 minutes.
