How to Make Crispy Cauliflower Hash Browns
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). This sets the perfect temperature for achieving that delightful crispiness.
  2. Prepare the cauliflower by removing the leaves and stem, then cutting it into smaller florets. Rice the cauliflower using a food processor or grater until it resembles fine granules.
  3. Combine in a large mixing bowl riced cauliflower, shredded cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well-integrated.
  4. Form the mixture into compact, palm-sized patties. Make sure they're tightly packed to ensure they hold together during baking.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the patties on it, spaced apart to allow for even cooking.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  7. Cool slightly before serving to allow the flavors to settle and the texture to crisp up.
