Preparation
  1. Marinate the Chicken: Mix the egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, flour, and cornstarch together. Coat the chicken thighs well and let them marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare Caesar Dressing: Blend the egg, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, anchovies, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  3. Toast Breadcrumbs: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, add panko breadcrumbs, and stir continuously for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Fry Chicken: Heat canola oil in a deep skillet. Fry the marinated chicken thighs for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Assemble Sandwich: Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, toasted breadcrumbs, and extra Parmesan. Layer fried chicken on croissants, top with salad mixture, and serve immediately.
