Making the Chips
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy exterior.
- Slice the yellow onions thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Layer the shredded Parmesan cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Arrange the onion slices in a single layer over the Parmesan.
- Brush the tops of the onion slices with olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until crispy and golden, monitoring closely.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual chips.
