  • 2 large Eggs or flax/chia egg
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumbs
For the Cream Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter or margarine/plant-based butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Seasoning or fresh herbs
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Set up dredging station with flour, whisked eggs, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.
  4. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg wash, and coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Whisk in flour, then gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring until sauce thickens (5-7 minutes).
  9. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve the crispy chicken with cream sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
