Preparation
- Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally to break it up. Drain any excess grease.
- Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning and garlic powder, mixing well. Let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and shredded carrots. Mix until combined.
- Place an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape, spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the filling into the center, fold, tuck in sides, and roll it tightly.
- In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place filled egg rolls into the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Plate the hot Voodoo Egg Rolls and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
