How to Make Better Than Anything Toffee
- Prepare Your Pan: Line a 9x13-inch baking dish or baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the Toffee Base: In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt butter, sugar, salt, and water over medium heat, stirring until golden brown and reaches 300°F.
- Pour & Spread: Pour the toffee onto the lined pan and spread it evenly. Let it cool slightly for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the Chocolate: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the warm toffee, wait 2 minutes, then spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the Nuts: Add the chopped nuts while chocolate is warm and gently press in.
- Let It Set: Cool at room temperature for 2 hours or chill for 30 minutes, then break into pieces.
