Preparation
- Begin by softening the gelatin in a small bowl with water. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Stir gently until warm.
- Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Add vanilla.
- Transfer the mixture into your jars and chill in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
- Blend fresh strawberries with a little sugar until smooth for the strawberry layer.
- Once the panna cotta is set, pour the strawberry mixture over each jar and chill for another hour.
