Preparation
  1. Begin by softening the gelatin in a small bowl with water. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Stir gently until warm.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Add vanilla.
  4. Transfer the mixture into your jars and chill in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
  5. Blend fresh strawberries with a little sugar until smooth for the strawberry layer.
  6. Once the panna cotta is set, pour the strawberry mixture over each jar and chill for another hour.
