How to Make Acorn Nut Bread
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Toast the acorn flour lightly in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl: acorn flour, all-purpose flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl: milk, eggs, and oil until smooth.
- Combine both mixtures until just combined; batter should be slightly lumpy.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, filling it two-thirds full.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
