How to Make Chinese Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry
- In a bowl, combine the chicken thighs with soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for 5-10 minutes to absorb all those wonderful flavors.
- In a separate bowl, mix the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and pepper powder. Set this mixture aside for later.
- Heat ½ tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken, frying until golden brown, then remove it from the pan and set aside.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the broccoli. Cook according to your preferred texture—about 2-3 minutes for a crunchy bite. Drain well.
- In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté the garlic and mushrooms until beautifully softened.
- Reintroduce the chicken and broccoli back into the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce, stirring until well combined. Let it sizzle for a minute before serving.
