- Grease your muffin tin generously to prevent sticking. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of batter into each cup.
- Place one piece of cooked sausage and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese atop the batter in each cup.
- Cover the fillings with more batter, ensuring the sausage and cheese are enclosed.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from tin. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
