Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder together in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in another bowl until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the large eggs one at a time to the butter mixture; mix thoroughly after each addition.
- Alternate adding the reserved pineapple liquid and the flour mixture gradually until well combined.
- Mix in the milk, then gently fold in the well-drained crushed pineapple.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and gently spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Whisk together the glaze ingredients in a small bowl and drizzle it over the cooled bread before slicing.
