Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound Raw Shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder Adjust for spice level.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt enhances taste.
For the Mango Salsa
  • 1 large Mango Choose a ripe mango for best flavor.
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper Yellow or orange bell pepper works too.
  • 1 medium Jalapeño Remove seeds for less spice.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Fresh juice is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Leaves Substitute with green onions if preferred.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Light sour cream makes it healthier.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Maple syrup is a tasty alternative.
  • 1/4 cup Prepared Green Salsa Fresh salsa can be used or omitted.
For the Tacos
  • 2 cups Purple Cabbage Green cabbage can be substituted.
  • 8 small Corn or Flour Tortillas Choose based on your taste.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat. Season your shrimp with chili powder and salt. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced mango, red bell pepper, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and fresh cilantro. Give it a gentle toss and season with salt. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  3. In a food processor, blend together sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, honey, and prepared green salsa until smooth. Taste it and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to your liking.
  4. Warm your corn or flour tortillas. Layer each tortilla with a drizzle of creamy sauce, a handful of shredded cabbage, generous portions of shrimp, and finish it off with a spoonful of mango salsa. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
