How to Make Hot Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso
- Brew your espresso by pulling 2 shots using an espresso machine or brewing about ⅓ cup of strong, hot coffee. Ensure it's concentrated for the best flavor.
- Dissolve 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of brown sugar in your hot espresso along with a pinch of cinnamon. Stir well until everything is fully incorporated; feel free to add vanilla extract at this step if you choose!
- Shake the sweetened espresso in a shaker with a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, allowing the espresso to chill and froth perfectly.
- Heat ½ cup of your chosen milk until it's warm (but not boiling). Froth the milk using a frother, whisk, or by shaking it in a jar for a creamy finish.
- Reheat the shaken espresso in the microwave for 15-20 seconds if you prefer a hot drink. This step is optional but adds warmth.
- Serve the frothy espresso in a mug, topping it with your frothed milk. Don't forget to garnish with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon to elevate the flavor. Enjoy immediately!

Optional: Add a drizzle of caramel sauce on top for an extra sweet touch! Store leftover espresso mixture (without milk) in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
