How to Make Ghoul-gheroni and Cheese
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil a large pot of water, add the ghoul-gheroni pasta, and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Whisk in the all-purpose flour, stirring continuously until light golden.
- Gradually whisk in the whole milk and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and stir in sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses until melted smooth.
- Mix the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce, coating each piece well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle "ghoulish" toppings on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
