How to Make Gordon Ramsay Caramelized Onion Dip
- In a large pan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Add thinly sliced onions, salt, and sugar to the pan. Cook slowly for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the onions are jammy and golden brown.
- Pour in the dry white wine, scraping up any delicious bits stuck to the bottom of the pan. Let it reduce completely.
- Once caramelized, chop or snip the onions into smaller pieces for uniform blending.
- In a separate bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Gently mix in the chopped onions, grated garlic (if using), Worcestershire or soy sauce, and minced parsley.
- Enjoy your dip warm or cold, served alongside crispy chips, fresh bread, or assorted veggies.

Notes
For a smoother texture, finely chop the caramelized onions or use a food processor before adding them to the cream base.
