- Butterfly and debone the rainbow trout, then pat it dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Preheat your oven to broil. Place the trout skin-side up on a non-stick baking sheet and broil for 6-8 minutes.
- While the trout is cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until it turns golden brown.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat, then add the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Mix everything well.
- Plate your broiled trout and drizzle the brown butter sauce generously over it. Serve immediately.
