  • 1 whole Rainbow Trout (butterflied & deboned) Fresh trout enhances the flavor.
  • Salt Use to taste.
  • Pepper Use freshly ground.
For the Brown Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter Forms the rich sauce base.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice Adds a bright acidity.
  • ¼ cup Chopped Flat-Leaf Parsley Offers freshness and color.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Butterfly and debone the rainbow trout, then pat it dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and freshly ground pepper.
  2. Preheat your oven to broil. Place the trout skin-side up on a non-stick baking sheet and broil for 6-8 minutes.
  3. While the trout is cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until it turns golden brown.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat, then add the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Mix everything well.
  5. Plate your broiled trout and drizzle the brown butter sauce generously over it. Serve immediately.
