Method

How to Make Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks
  1. In a large skillet, pour in some olive oil and heat it over medium-high.
  2. Add sliced onion and green bell pepper to the pan. Cook them for about 3-5 minutes until they’re tender and fragrant. If you're using mushrooms, toss them in and let them sauté for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Push the veggies to the side, making space for the ground beef. Add it to the skillet and cook until browned, roughly 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and generously top the beef mixture with provolone cheese. Cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.
  6. Slice your hoagie rolls open, careful not to cut all the way through.
  7. Spoon the delicious beef and vegetable mixture generously into each hoagie roll.
  8. Enjoy your Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks immediately!
