How to Make Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks
- In a large skillet, pour in some olive oil and heat it over medium-high.
- Add sliced onion and green bell pepper to the pan. Cook them for about 3-5 minutes until they’re tender and fragrant. If you're using mushrooms, toss them in and let them sauté for an additional 3 minutes.
- Push the veggies to the side, making space for the ground beef. Add it to the skillet and cook until browned, roughly 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Lower the heat and generously top the beef mixture with provolone cheese. Cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.
- Slice your hoagie rolls open, careful not to cut all the way through.
- Spoon the delicious beef and vegetable mixture generously into each hoagie roll.
- Enjoy your Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks immediately!
