Method

Making the Ice Cream
  1. Combine ingredients: In a blender, add the cottage cheese, fresh blueberries, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and milk.
  2. Blend thoroughly: Blend the mixture until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. (Optional) Strain for smoothness: Strain the mixture through a fine sieve for an ultra-smooth texture.
  4. Churn the mixture: Pour into an ice cream maker and churn for 20-25 minutes until soft-serve consistency.
  5. No ice cream maker? Pour into a shallow dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes for 4-5 hours.
  6. Freeze for firmer texture: Transfer ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
