  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

Method
 

How to Make Peach Crumb Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan (about 9x13 inches) with parchment paper.
  2. Mix in a large bowl the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir gently until a crumbly dough forms.
  4. Press about two-thirds of this dough into the bottom of your prepared pan.
  5. Combine diced fresh peaches, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon in another bowl. Mix until coated.
  6. Spread the peach filling evenly over the crust.
  7. Crumble the remaining dough over the peach filling.
  8. Bake in your preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
  9. Cool the bars completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into squares.
