How to Make Homemade Glazed Orange Rolls
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and granulated sugar; sprinkle active dry yeast on top. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add in the eggs, melted butter, and salt. Mix together before gradually incorporating flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes.
- Transfer to a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours or until doubled.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, and orange zest for the filling.
- Roll the dough into a 16x12-inch rectangle, spread the filling, then roll tightly. Cut into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased dish, cover, and let rise for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, and zest for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
