How to Make Ina Garten Italian Drunken Noodles
  1. Cook Noodles: Boil wide egg noodles in salted water until tender, about 7-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown Sausage: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add Italian sausage, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté Vegetables: Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the pan. Stir for 5 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  4. Add Wine and Tomatoes: Pour in red wine and reduce for a minute or two. Add crushed and halved cherry tomatoes, mixing well.
  5. Season and Simmer: Add Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Fold cooked noodles into the sauce until coated.
