Main Instructions
  1. Layer the ingredients in the Instant Pot in the following order: chicken stock, chicken thighs, chicken breast, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, BBQ sauce, grated onion, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Do NOT stir.
  2. Secure the lid tightly and set the valve to sealing. Select manual mode on high pressure and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Allow for natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  4. Carefully remove the chicken from the pot and shred it using two forks or a stand mixer.
  5. If desired, set the Instant Pot to sauté mode to reduce the liquid until thickened. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce.
