- Layer the ingredients in the Instant Pot in the following order: chicken stock, chicken thighs, chicken breast, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, BBQ sauce, grated onion, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Do NOT stir.
- Secure the lid tightly and set the valve to sealing. Select manual mode on high pressure and cook for 15 minutes.
- Allow for natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove the chicken from the pot and shred it using two forks or a stand mixer.
- If desired, set the Instant Pot to sauté mode to reduce the liquid until thickened. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce.
