Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped pecans and a pinch of salt until the dough is crumbly but holds together.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about ½ inch in diameter.
- Place the formed balls on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until light golden in color.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Optional: Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled pecan balls.
