Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with a layer of marinara sauce.
- Boil the jumbo pasta shells in salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, and mix in ricotta cheese until well combined.
- Fill each cooled shell with the beef and cheese mixture and arrange seam-side up in the greased baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then uncover and broil for 5 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, with additional marinara sauce if desired.
