How to Make Crack Green Beans
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prepare for the green beans.
- If using canned beans, drain them thoroughly. For fresh beans, blanch in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then cool in an ice bath.
- Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Reserve the bacon grease and crumble the bacon after draining it.
- In the same skillet, mix in butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder and stir over low heat until smooth.
- In the greased baking dish, layer green beans and pour the glaze over them. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for about 30-40 minutes.
- Allow the dish to cool slightly before serving warm.
